Legal Seminar for in-house legal counsels

Norton Rose Australia, in association with the Conference, will be hosting a half-day symposium prepared exclusively for in-house legal counsel who deal with, or are interested in, climate change, the renewable energy market, and carbon finance. In this collaborative seminar, Norton Rose will present an overview of current policy frameworks, current opportunities, and its thoughts as to what can be learned from the international environment.

The session is intended to be interactive and act as a forum for sharing views and advice. Themes of discussion will include:

The international context for carbon and renewable energy
Australian and New Zealand regulatory landscapes
Legal and commercial practicalities for carbon projects and carbon finance
Legal and commercial practicalities for renewable energy project development and financing

KNOWCHANGE is a grassroots initiative rather than an organisation or a campaign. It provides a fresh way for individuals to engage with sustainability, the future and each other. Conference organisers do not take responsibility for the gathering but invite those who seek a fresh style of engagement.
